Crimson Command – Embrace the Spirit of the Last Sengoku Hero
The Sanada Clan Samurai Armor is a powerful Gashira Class reproduction, inspired by one of the most iconic clans in Japanese history, the Sanada. Serving loyally under the Takeda Clan, they carved a legacy of courage, clever strategy, and unwavering devotion. Their most famous descendant, Sanada Yukimura (1567–1615), is remembered as the “Crimson Demon of War” and the “Last Sengoku Hero,” revered for his valor during the Siege of Osaka.
The Rokumonsen crest—six coins believed to be necessary to cross the river into the afterlife—adorned their armor, a bold statement that the Sanada warriors did not fear death. This symbolic defiance made them a legendary force on the battlefield and continues to inspire warriors today.
Crafted by our skilled katchû-shi at Iron Mountain Armory, this yoroi set reflects that fierce legacy. Featuring nami sode and kusazuri (wave-pattern shoulder & skirt armor), a traditional Byō-tōji Yokohagi Okegawa Dō (rivet-fastened horizontal plate cuirass), and a Byō-tōji Zunari Hachi (helmet bowl with riveted accents), this armor pays homage to the bold defiance and proud traditions of the Sanada warriors.
Like all of our Gashira Class armor, this set is fully customizable. Choose from multiple paint finishes, odoshi (lace) colors, sizing adjustments, kabuto, menpō, and more. Our experienced smiths are ready to craft your armor to your exact preferences—whether for martial arts, reenactment, or a commanding display centerpiece.
