The Yoroi Bitsu (also known as kara bitsu or gusoku bitsu) is an ornate, handcrafted wooden box designed for the display, storage, and transportation of gusoku (samurai armor sets). Historically, these elegant boxes were used by samurai to safeguard their precious armor, often paired with a specially designed stand for proud display. Iron Mountain Armory has faithfully recreated the traditional yoroi bitsu along with its accompanying stand, allowing you to store and showcase your armor with pride and dignity.

Our Yoroi Bitsu can be ordered with a standard kanji (front) or customized with your preferred mon (samurai clan symbol), family crest, kanji, or even your company logo for an additional fee. For a standard mon, please select one of the available options; for a custom design, choose “Custom Mon” and email us your image after receiving your order confirmation. Please note that we can only paint single-color, “ClipArt” style images onto your box.

Choose from our two options:

• Standard Yoroi Bitsu: Available in Natural Unfinished, Natural Lacquer, or Painted Color finishes.
• Deluxe Yoroi Bitsu: Featuring dovetail corners and the same finish options for a more refined look.

Dimensions vary: Display dimensions are approximately 17 1/2″ x 19″ x 21 1/4″ (40x46x55 cm) weighing around 18 lbs, while the shipping dimensions measure 18″ x 20″ x 24″ at 25 lbs.

Please note: The yoroi bitsu is complimentary with Gashira & Taisho armor set orders and is available with our Kachi Samurai Armor sets for free (shipping and handling extra).
