Once the ashigaru (foot soldiers) engaged the enemy in traditional formation, it was the Daku Akuma Taisho and their Gashira (officers) who shattered the battlefield’s balance — storming through the enemy lines like a dark tide, striking terror and confusion.

Gifted with unparalleled martial prowess, these Taisho were masters of surprise attacks, ambush tactics, and the psychological warfare of the battlefield. They would mock and taunt enemy samurai into reckless single combat, isolating them from their comrades, before cutting them down with calculated precision. Their deadly efficiency earned them the infamous reputation as “Dark Demons” among their foes.

Handcrafted by our most skilled taisho katchû-shi (Japanese armor smiths) at Iron Mountain Armory, this masterpiece features kiritsuke iyozane (simulated scale plating), sode (shoulder guards), and kusazuri (defensive skirt plating) — all forged with the utmost care and historical accuracy.
