    Select between standard sized armor sets or fully custom sized

    Standard Size: fits most people 167–182 cm tall (≈ 5'6"–5'10").
    The torso is cut with an 11 cm (~4 in) taper from chest to waist.

    To choose correctly, measure your chest at full inhalation and use that measurement as your reference.
    If your in between sizes it is often best to order 1 size larger.

    Important: The waist is traditionally 4 in / 11 cm smaller than the chest.
    We cannot make the waist larger than your chest measurement.

    Please select your height. Our standard armor is designed to best fit individuals between 167 cm and 177 cm tall (approximately 5'6" to 5'10"). This helps us ensure the best possible fit for your armor.

    Please select your weight. This information is used for reference only to help us better understand your body type and guide the overall shape and fit of the armor. It does not affect the quality or class of the armor, and all sizing details can still be adjusted if needed.


    These accessories will be added with your armor set shipment.

    Add a long cloth belt used to hold your dō firmly in place for a more comfortable with and to hold weapons and other accessories to your waist.

    Add a narrow Uwa - Obit (outer utility) Belt to your armor set, to hold your tanto (dagger), katana (sword), bags, canteen and other accessories.

    Add a Large Yoroi Obi Belt to your order—a padded “pillow” belt worn beneath the armor. It cushions and protects the hips while keeping the chest armor securely positioned. 
    This material will match the main material you select for your armor.

Honor the Spirit of the Edo Samurai – Strength Woven in Tradition

The Edo Haramaki Gusoku is a Daimyo Class reproduction of a traditional Edo Era samurai armor set, masterfully handcrafted by the skilled katchû-shi (Japanese armorer) of Iron Mountain Armory. Every curve, plate, and cord of this yoroi is a reflection of the martial pride and spirit of the samurai during the peaceful yet prestigious Edo Period.

The haramaki design, originating from the early 14th century, features a wrap-around (cuirass) that ties securely in the back. A unique vertical opening in the rear allows the warrior to don the armor more easily, without distorting its elegant silhouette. To preserve the flawless design, the sei-ita (backboard) elegantly covers the opening, hanging from the watagami (shoulder straps) and tying into the base of the . Although practical, during the later Edo era this feature became humorously known among warriors as the okubyo-no-ita — the “coward’s plate” — a tongue-in-cheek nod to the samurai’s wit and pride.

This stunning suit also features a suji-bachi kabuto (multi-plate helmet) crafted with your choice of ken (ridges), paired with magnificent ō-sode (large shoulder shields). The katchû-shi are happy to customize your suit’s lacing pattern, armor finish, or select from exclusive Daimyo Class materials to ensure your yoroi is as legendary as the spirit it embodies.
