Legendary Craftsmanship – Cross-Knotted Strength of the Sengoku Era
The Muromachi Hishi-Toji Samurai Armor is a radiant symbol of samurai prestige, worn by high-ranking warriors during the late Muromachi through Sengoku Period. This Shogun-class yoroi (armor set) is hand-forged by the senior katchû-shi (Japanese armorers) of Iron Mountain Armory, showcasing the full elegance and martial nobility of traditional hishi-toji (diamond cross-knotted) lacing.
At its core is a robust Tosei Okegawa Ni-mai Dō (two-piece clamshell cuirass), constructed from 14 individual steel ita-mono (plates), carefully joined using traditional odoshi (lace). The iconic O-sode (large shoulder guards) are laced in vibrant kebiki-odoshi (full-lacing) style, customized by color, pattern, and accent to your preference. This meticulous hand-lacing creates a dynamic, colorful presence that honors the fabled warriors of samurai lore.
Commanding in appearance and construction, this suit offers the option of intricate fukurin (brass edging) to further elevate its regal status. The maedate (helmet crest) can also be customized to your personal or clan mon, giving your kabuto (helmet) a deeply personal touch of power and identity.
As with all Shogun-class samurai armor from Iron Mountain Armory, every detail is masterfully executed using only the finest materials. Your armor set is crafted for authenticity, durability, and a commanding presence—whether in battle, display, or ceremony.
