Description
Loyal Strategist of the Tokugawa
Defender of the Four Horizons
Crafted in honor of Sakakibara Yasumasa (1548–1606 AD), this Kachi Class suit of samurai armor pays tribute to one of the Tokugawa Clan’s most revered military commanders. Known for his fierce loyalty and masterful battlefield tactics, Yasumasa was appointed one of the “Four Guardian Kings”—the elite group of daimyo who protected the Tokugawa Shogunate from all directions, earning the title “Guardians of the Four Horizons.”
Yasumasa’s reputation as a tactical genius and disciplined leader was forged in the heat of the Sengoku Jidai and carried into the early Edo Period. This armor set reflects the elegance and authority of such a warrior. Handcrafted by Iron Mountain Armory’s apprentice Katchû-shi, it is designed for the modern warrior seeking to honor tradition, legacy, and their own inner strategist.
This suit features the iconic hachi zunari kabuto (helmet) and Byō-toji Yokohagi Okegawa Dō (horizontal plate chest armor), one of the most popular and battle-tested designs of the late Sengoku Period. It is richly embellished with kebiki-odoshi (full lacing) on the sode (shoulder guards) and kusazuri (skirt plates), giving it a visually commanding presence while preserving practical function.
Customization is available to suit your personal style or clan spirit, with a wide range of paint finishes, nylon odoshi (lace) colors, and additional upgrades. Also available in our Gashira Class for those seeking an elevated level of detail and craftsmanship.
