Crimson Demon of War – Wear the Legend of the Last Sengoku Hero
The Sanada Yukimura Samurai Armor is a commanding Gashira Class yoroi (armor set) handcrafted by the expert katchû-shi (Japanese armor smiths) at Iron Mountain Armory. This armor honors the fearless and revered daimyo Sanada Yukimura (真田 幸村, 1567–1615), a tactician and warrior whose exploits during the Sengoku period earned him the titles “Crimson Demon of War” and “The Last Sengoku Hero.”
Yukimura’s legacy was forged through his brilliant leadership and unmatched valor in combat. Most famously, he gained everlasting fame during the Siege of Osaka, where he led a heroic and near-impossible defense against overwhelming odds. His armor was as iconic as his reputation. Adorned with the Rokumonsen crest—six coins symbolizing the toll to cross the river to the afterlife—it proudly proclaimed the Sanada Clan’s fearlessness in the face of death.
This suit of armor features a zunari kabuto (helmet) crowned with synthetic deer antlers, representing Yukimura’s mastery of both offense and defense. The okegawa dō (two-section cuirass) provides durable protection and mobility, while the kiritsuke iyozane sode and kusazuri reflect traditional design.
The standard color for this yoroi is vermilion or crimson, often finished in suna (sand-textured lacquer). However, your set can be fully customized to match your personal warrior spirit. Select your preferred color, finish, odoshi (lace), and even alternate helmet, menpō (facial armor), and suneate (shin guards) styles through our available options.
This armor is not only a stunning tribute to a legendary warrior—it’s your gateway to embodying the warrior spirit within.

good armor might consider buy one more
I saw armor that looked exactly like this while in Japan but the price with shipping and taxes was just too expensive. Even if you actually buy it On-Line from Japan, the retail price there is more expensive. A few months after returning from Japan I still wanted a suit of armor but I just couldn’t bring myself to paying over $3K for a basic suit of armor.
We all know that to get the “real” samurai armor you have to get it from Japan, but I decided to take a chance. After contacting a few websites I determined this is the website everyone else buys from and the pictures looked just like the actual suits did in the store in Japan. Now Japan take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery and these guys promised and delivered in just 17 days with my custom size!
I bought the SAME EXACT armor I fell in love with in Japan at 1/3 the price! The detail, feel and fit is perfect; I am so impressed!! These guys are THE REAL DEAL!!
Wow, very impressive. Real antlers and very well made! Thank you!!
It fits absolutely perfect. It looks intimidating when wearing it. On display it is a wonderful piece of art. Movement overall is obviously “a bit restricted”, but for wearing a full armor this is quite fabulous. I mean sword movement worked intuitively and there were no restrictions. Even the colors fully match what I had in mind, when selecting every option.
100% recommend this company for your historical Bushido Samurai armor needs. The attention to detail and quality of manufacture is unprecedented for a hand crafted item. As a military historian, I have had an opportunity to inspect many original suits of Japanese armor, and the comparison is very authentic in terms of construction. Please keep in mind that even with high quality control, these are hand crafted items, so there is no such thing as “perfect”, but for the cost, they exceed even many Japanese suits of armor, and this is completely ready for combat. I would strongly urge buyers to purchase at minimum of the Gashira level of quality, and there is a significant different of upgrade of materials and construction. I was also very impressed with the customer service and speed of construction. My Gashira set only took about 6 weeks until arrival.
