Select the armor size you prefer.

Standard Size: fits most people 167–182 cm tall (≈ 5'6"–5'10").
The torso is cut with an 11 cm (~4 in) taper from chest to waist.

If your in between sizes it is often best to order 1 size larger.

Measure your waist at the navel (belly-button level) and choose that size.
Unsure? Pick the next size up for a looser fit.

Important: The waist is traditionally 4 in / 11 cm smaller than the chest.
We cannot make the waist larger than your chest measurement.

Please select your height. Our standard armor is designed to best fit individuals between 167 cm and 177 cm tall (approximately 5'6" to 5'10"). This helps us ensure the best possible fit for your armor.

Please select your weight. This information is used for reference only to help us better understand your body type and guide the overall shape and fit of the armor. It does not affect the quality or class of the armor, and all sizing details can still be adjusted if needed.

Shine with Prestige – Armor of Authority & Artistry

Our senior katchû-shi (Japanese armor smiths) at Iron Mountain Armory take great pride in handcrafting each Iyozane no So-Fukurin yoroi (samurai armor set) using the most traditional methods with minimal modern tools. This exceptional Taisho-class set reflects the craftsmanship, detail, and regal appearance expected of high-ranking samurai and daimyō during the Edo Period.

This armor features kiritsuke iyozane (simulated scale plating), meticulously embossed into large iron plates and laced together in classic fashion. The armor’s two-piece okegawa-dō (tub-sided cuirass) is connected with a pin hinge for flexibility, while the striking so-fukurin (brass edging) around the kabuto (helmet) and sode (shoulder guards) adds a bold and elegant contrast. The visor of the kabuto is embellished with an engraved brass dragon—a mark of strength, protection, and noble distinction.

A popular design with elite warriors, this yoroi embodies the timeless aesthetic of high-class samurai, blending strength and refined elegance. The extensive so-fukurin not only enhances the appearance but also represents the level of status and personal pride a Taisho warrior would carry into battle.

Our Taisho-class katchû-shi dedicate over 35 days to the careful forging, assembly, and detailing of this armor. They will happily customize every aspect—from paint and odoshi (lace) colors to size, kabuto, menpō (mask), and suneate (shin guards)—ensuring your suit is tailored to your warrior spirit.
