Honoring the famed Môri commanders, this elite Taisho-class armor is handcrafted by the senior katchû-shi (Japanese armor smiths) of Iron Mountain Armory, blending time-honored techniques with the spirit of legendary ambition.

The Môri Clan rose to dominance through unmatched military prowess and diplomatic ingenuity, combining battlefield courage with strategic brilliance. Their Taisho (commanders) were pivotal in leading and directing their Kumi-Gashira and Gashira officers, ensuring their forces moved as one relentless tide, both on land and across the sea.

Faithful to the artistry of the 16th century, this traditional yoroi features a fully handcrafted Hineno Zunari Bachi kabuto (helmet) assembled from three plates, along with kiritsuke iyozane (simulated scale) sode (shoulder guards) and kusazuri (defensive skirt plating). Every armor piece is shaped with pride and precision, honoring the original methods of the ancient katchû-shi.

The standard colors are a bold Shu (red) lacquered finish with commanding black odoshi (lace), but like the samurai who carried their clan’s honor into battle, you may customize your armor’s paint, lacing, kabuto, menpō (mask), suneate (shin guards), and finishing details.
