    Chest Circumference


    Chest Sizing

    This option changes the girth size of your Dō (chest armor). While inhaling deeply, have an assistant wrap the tape measure under your armpits around the largest part of your chest. In the back, you want the tape measure to wrap across your shoulder blades. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight.

    Waist Circumference


    Waist Size

    This option is for the waist circumference of the Dō (chest armor). 5: Place a tape measure on your navel (belly button) and straight around your waist, finishing at your navel. The Armor of Takeda’s Mastermind

This Kachi Class suit of samurai armor is crafted in tribute to Yamamoto Kansuke (山本 勘助, 1501–1561), the brilliant strategist of the Takeda Clan and one of the famed “Twenty-Four Generals of Takeda Shingen.” Known for his loyalty and fearless tactics, Kansuke’s most famous achievement was orchestrating the victorious plan during the Fourth Battle of Kawanakajima—an intense confrontation against the legendary Uesugi Kenshin.

Though the plan proved successful, Kansuke never saw his triumph. Believing he had failed his lord, he charged alone into the fray, dying a glorious warrior’s death that secured Takeda’s victory and cemented his name in the annals of samurai history. His fearless spirit and strategic genius are captured in every detail of this armor.

This set includes a hachi zunari kabuto (helmet) & Okegawa Dō (chest armor), adorned with real water buffalo horns to reflect Kansuke’s battlefield might. The armor is fully functional, fully wearable, and fully customizable to reflect your inner warrior’s spirit. Choose your preferred paint, nylon odoshi (lace), helmet style, mask, and more. This popular set is also available in Gashira & Taisho Class for elevated detail.

    I ordered the Kachi (low end) model. I really wasn’t expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised about the finished quality. I am kind of wishing I upgraded to the next model up to get the little extras now, but I really can’t complain. For the price I paid I am very happy with the armor and the service I received.

    I wear this often. Fits like a glove and I give this site’s info out like crazy at events. Everyone wants their picture taken with me, wifey was pissed when I bought it but got over it quick and loves the attention it brings. Looks boss in the war room at our new house too.
    I’ve worn it at Renaissance fairs, events at the Worcester art museum, random events and costume parties at local venues.

    I love this armor set. It is absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations, even after reading the other reviews. There are usually always one or two star reviews for products from less than satisfied clients, but honestly I can see why everyone gives 5 stars. Between the quality of armor and level of customer service it is an easy 5 star rating for me!
